Oak and Brick Coaching

About Me

I’m Carmelle, a native Oregonian who finds joy in the simple things - strong coffee, quiet hikes beneath tall trees, and time with my grandkids. I love the beauty of our state and the way nature reminds me to slow down, breathe and stay grounded in what matters most.

For many years, I struggled with my own mental health. They were dark years - filled with confusion and turmoil. Hope was something I longed for but had very little of, and my faith faltered. I felt lost.

Through these difficult times, Jesus carried me while I healed and recovered. It wasn’t quick; it took time and effort to get better. Much had to change along the way - there were things to learn, skills to practice, and truths that needed to reshape the framework of my thinking. Mental health recovery gave me a model to follow - helping me make plans that put me in control of my own well-being. Time spent with the Lord talking, listening and soaking in the Word- grew a deep faith. Over the years, he transformed me into the woman he created me to be.

Oak and Brick Christian Life Coaching was created so that I could support other women through life's struggles - whether it’s a season of transition, anxiety, or just feeling stuck. I’m here to listen, guide and walk alongside you.

Together we will have authentic conversations that lead to growth, healing, and deeper dependency on Christ. My hope is that every conversation and shared moment through Oak and Brick Christian Coaching offers clarity - about who God is and who you are created to be.

About Coaching

As a Christian Life Coach, I’ll walk alongside you with faith-based support and gentle guidance.  Together, we’ll explore practical ways to strengthen your well-being, grow in resilience, and find peace through God’s truth and grace.

Coaching isn’t about diagnosis or treatment - it’s about creating space to learn, reflect and take meaningful steps toward the life God has for you.  Through conversation, encouragement and accountability, we’ll work together to build habits and perspectives that support your spiritual, emotional, and mental wellbeing.

Through guided conversations, reflection, and prayerful insight, we will focus on small steps that lead to lasting change”

Bible verses that shape me

Phil 4:13 -" “I can do all things through him who strengthens me.”

2 Timothy 1:7 - “For God did not give us a spirit of fear but a spirit of power, of love and self-discipline.”

Phil 4:6-7 - “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your mind in Christ Jesus.”

Isaiah 26:3 - “You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trust in you.”
